Time reports across all projects, grouped by user

In Apollo, you can finally see your time reports across multiple projects (instead of running a report for each project).

I am sure this is great news for all those users who use Apollo while working on multiple projects, and want to keep track of time spent across all of them. Some of our users have over 250 projects active (!).

To see global time reports, just click on the "time" tab in the Project section of Apollo:

There, you can enter the time range you want the report for:

This is what a report looks like. As you can see, it's grouped by user:

Note that you can click on the little arrow, and "expand" the view to see what that person has spent time on.

This is a first iteration: in the future, we will most likely introduce things like planned time vs. actual time, hourly cost of a resource, etc. Please be as vocal as possible in terms of what you'd like to see here (you can just add a comment to this blog post, or contact us directly). We actually do listen!

Great stuff! Would be great if the logged time could be synced with HarvestApp.

Hi Markus,

Thank you for the pointer! We will definitely have a look at Harvest's API and integration opportunities.

Bye!

This feature looks like a big improvement for managing teams. On the subject of managing teams I do have another question -

As a relatively new user to Apollo I might have missed something, but is there a way to see all the people 'under' you (as workspace owner) and their respective project lists?

I would like to be able to get an overview of what my entire team has on the go, obviously excluding private tasks, and whilst I can see which team members are assigned to each project, via the people section of that specific project, I really want to see whats going on across my team for all the projects, is this something that is already possible or could be implemented for the feature?

Very impressed by Apollo so far!

Hi,

Thank you!
We love what you're suggesting. For now, we are working on a general overview -- we will then work on 'user pages', which will be pretty much what you're taking about.

Bye!

Nice feature, but I REALLY need to export time reports to CSV files. Is that coming soon?

Hi Jeff,

we are adding it as we speak. It'll be online at the next Apollo deploy in a few days!
