Bulk editing of contacts in Apollo

Hello there,

I haven't written here in a while. We get a lot of consistent email feedback after posting here, and I have to say we find the communication very gratifying.

One of the features I personally talked about privately in emails a lot was the possibility to run bulk actions on contacts. Before now, if you wanted to change the visibility of 10 contacts, you had no choice but open each one of them. This was time consuming, and hardly a good way to do things.

This is why we introduced bulk actions on contacts:

As soon as you tick a box in the contacts section, the bulk action box pops out: you are then able to select more contacts, and decide what to do. At the moment you can add tags, change the contacts' visibility, or delete all of the selected ones.

We are sure this will help a lot of folks out there manage their contacts. Let us know how it all went!

This is great! Looking forward to more actions - like "LINK TO PROJECT" or "Add to deal/case" ;)

Hi,

You can import contacts from a generic CSV file:

http://www.apollohq.com/support/faq/index.php/faq-highriseimport#faq-hig...

You basically need to export data from those services, format it the right way with a spreadsheet, and then reimport it into Apollo.

In the future, we will make it possible to import from Gmail!

Bye,

Merc.
